Today I posted the final chapter in not only 'The War of Ragnarok' novel but also the entire Ragnarok series. It was supposed to be one chapter, but it got so big, it had to become a three parter, from chapters 52-54. This concludes the adventures of my main protagonist Falco Adler, aka Claw, in my own setting in the world of Yorden, which took me more than 8 years to conclude.
And with this final chapter also ends my writing on DA. No more stories or attempts at novels will be posted here. At least not for the foreseeabele future. I'm not too good at the whole social media stuff, never even set up a facebook account and always stayed clear from that hate-filled cesspool called twitter. The fact I have been active on DA for 7 years, almost 8 in fact, is akin to a miracle.
I'm not closing down this page. It's actually pretty good to serve as a sort of back up for all my work. Neither will i put everything in storage, at least not in 2020. After that, who knows, but probably not then either. I will also remain an observer, looking for stuff I like and fave and comment to them. So, we may still meet in the comments section. I've also already promised to join
Arnilo 's Aaaaugust challenge, so expect (or dread) some silly drawings of Sir Kitteh Paws popping up sooner or later. So, the activity over here won't stop altogether, just be toned down a lot.
I don't want to drag this out for too long, so let me conclude by thanking everybody who ever faved or, even better, commented on some of the attempts at writing I've posted here. I can't speak for other amateur writers but in my case, comments, feedback and positive interaction with readers were a very big part of the fuel that kept me going for a long time. To know somebody actually read what you wrote and liked it enough to leave a comment or fave it, is just a great feeling.
Thank you all very much for that.
I wish you all the very best in whatever you want to do (as long as it's not supervillain evil) in both your real life and your digital one! Have a good life, people.
